WHO IS DR. DUSHKIN?

Dr. Dushkin has been on the leading edge of Alternative Medicine in the United States since the 1970's. 

Early to Recognize & Teach Holistic Principles 
While in Medical School (1972-1976) at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, NY, he began to study the relationship between diet, nutrition, stress and disease. He even taught classes about these topics to the public. 

 

After working as a rural Physician in Pennsylvania, Dr. Dushkin became a Consultant to private corporations, assisting in the development of Employee Wellness Programs for companies like Johnson & Johnson and Westinghouse. 

Charter Member of The American Holistic Medical Association
By 1979, Dr. Dushkin was one of a small number of doctors in the country to recognize the importance of Holistic Medicine, and the need to support the formation of a national organization. Therefore, he became a Charter Member of The American Holistic Medical Association. Today, over 500 doctors have joined.

Early Practitioner of Alternative Medicine & Homeopathy
In 1982, before Holistic Medicine became popular, Dr. Dushkin began introducing thousands of people to the benefits of Homeopathy and Holistic Medicine at the Kripalu Center, in Lenox, MA. 

Mentored Harvard & Albert Einstein Medical Students
As a mentor to students at Harvard Medical School and Albert Einstein Medical School, Dr. Dushkin has shared his knowledge, experience and advice while building enthusiasm for this emerging specialty.

Private Practice - Alternative Medicine & Homeopathy
Dr. Dushkin practices Homeopathy and Holistic Medicine at 250 West 49th Street in Manhattan. He has helped thousands of adults and children recover from their chronic and recurring health problems.

Medical School Lecturer 
Since moving to Manhattan in 1995, Dr. Dushkin has lectured to medical students at some of the top Medical School programs in New York City, including Columbia, Cornell and Mt. Sinai. 

Wellness Center Faculty
Dr. Dushkin is a member of the faculty that is developing and creating a Wellness Program for the highly-recognized New Age Health Spa in Neversink, NY.

Elected VP, Homeopathic Medical Society of the State of NY
Dr. Dushkin was recently elected by the Homeopathic Medical Society of the State of New York to be a Vice President, 1999-2001.
